Hi, I’m Nancy Weintraub

My love affair with space and all things visual began at age ten when I painted a picture of my Brooklyn apartment bedroom.  I traveled the subway an hour and a half each way to attend the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan so I could pursue what I loved most.

What you love is not always what you get to do and my path to master textile curator has wound its way through stints in NYC ad agencies, freelance graphic design, then owning and running my own boutique ad agency.  In Los Angeles, I eventually found my way to the luxury décor industry, first as a salesperson for J Robert Scott, then Randolph & Hein, where I began working with weavers, receiving my initiation in selecting and editing lines like Boussac, Osborne & Little and Christopher Hyland.

The moment I walked into Rose Tarlow Melrose House I knew it was where I belonged.  Rose was looking for someone to create her first ever expanded textile collection. It was the first time I was asked to creative-direct original textile designs.  Later, I did the same for Kerry Joyce Textiles.  That is what I have done, what I have loved, and what I have now decided to do under my own banner.

Each one of my clients will know that above all, I am committed to excellence.  I am relentlessly detailed and unsparing in my devotion to getting it right.

Let’s have a conversation about how I can help you turn a vision into a viable collection(s) of best-in-class applied textiles for residences, hospitality environments and retail spaces.
